You guys, I’m leading worship this morning for IMPACT! which is our church‘s middle school ministry.
A couple things I love about leading worship for the middle-schoolers?
- I get to jump around, yell, clap, dance, jig, dougie, hop, and sing at the top of my lungs because they’re middle-schoolers and they don’t care.
- I love getting the opportunity to show these kids that YES!, worship can (and should) be fun!
- I love watching the hilarious gender separation. Like, the girls are ALWAYS on the right side of the room and then there’s a two-foot gap and the boys are on the left side of the room. Ahh, awkward hormones.
- I love being able to share the Word with kids.

Hehehe this made me laugh. My hubs and I also teach young teens for our church and that divide of girls vs boys cracks me up!

So fun! My husband plays in our worship band and I’m willing to bet is at church right now practicing at least one Hillsong United song! Have fun today!

My church has been playing a few Jesus Culture songs. Two of our favorites are Awaken Me and Glorious. I love Hillsong too
I love Jesus Culture!! oh man i love those songs, too! SO GREAT. the whole Aftermath and God is Able albums are amazing
I just started listening to them, they are pretty good
Jr High worship was always fun. I remember we had crazy songs that we jumped and sing to and it was awesome! I’m sure you’re awesome at it
