If you’ve been a somewhat longtime reader of my blog, you may remember Emily + Dustin. I took some impromptu maternity portraits for my dear friends back in May (you can view them here) and, well, baby Austyn came into the world fashionably late back in August.
Well, Emily and Dustin asked if I’d take some family portraits for them for their Christmas cards, and I said, “HECK YES!”
I LOVED my time with Emily, Dustin, and Austyn. They are such dear friends, have amazing hearts for God, are both INCREDIBLY GIFTED musicians and singers, and are just such a joy in my life. We had a blast walking around The Shoppes at Daniel Boone taking pictures and trying to make Austyn comfortable and then we grabbed some breakfast (John came too!) at Jack’s Restaurant afterwards.
My kind of Saturday morning, if you ask me.
Remember, I am no professional photographer or anything, I just have a passion for photography and love getting better at my little hobby.

Oh my goodness, those photos are so lovely, you did a really amazing job taking them. That cutie pie! Oh my gosh, baby cheeks are the best! they’re so round and cute, I think the only thing cuter than a baby with round cheeks would be a baby with round cheeks laughing. Eek, the cuteness!
Really though, a gorgeous job shooting these photo, I love the rustic background and feel to these, I bet they’re really going to treasure them.
