The Wizard of Oz was by far my favorite movie when I was a little girl. I mean, remember the time I told you guys how I dressed as Dorothy for like two years straight? Yeah. Truth. URBSESSED with The Wizard of Oz. So I’m no stranger to this new “Emerald” color those Pantone people are talking about.

I mean, they were going to the Emerald City. But I live in a little North Carolina town called Hillsborough, so I like to think that this is the country. Or, it’s at least a little country where I live. So, we’ll call this the emerald country. Mmkay?

On another note, I also have to give credit where credit is due. Both necklaces I’m wearing were such sweet gifts from my sweet and super fashionable friend Brooke. And she let me borrow her sunglasses and this clutch for this particular outfit. So I’m basically accessorized by Brooke here. So, thanks for help making me look and feel fab, friend!

Anywho. Are you a fan of emerald green? Are you excited this color is “back in” even though, in my humble opinion, it never left?

“19 So then you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with the saints, and members of God’s household, 20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the cornerstone. 21 The whole building, being put together by Him, grows into a holy sanctuary in the Lord. 22 You also are being built together for God’s dwelling in the Spirit.” -Ephesians 2:19-22

I’m lovin’ this green. It just makes everything look so much happier, doesn’t it? Also-Love that clutch! Looks like Brooke has lent you some wonderful items. Think she’s in the market for a closet sharing friend from the north? haha

I love the Wizard Of OZ! I think the best part about it is that it’s a little creepy. I’m weird like that :) I love your outfit too – and those necklaces are fabulous! What a great friend Brooke is for letting you borrow them!

Super cute outfit! I am a fan of emerald so I’m glad its the “color of the year”. However as much as I like the color, I don’t have many clothing items in that color. Guess I better get with it! LOL
