If I look a little less smiley in these photos and a little more freezing-my-tail-off, it’s because I was. HOLY MOLY IT WAS COLD THIS DAY. Seriously. And the wind. Oh the wind. I thought my skin was about to freeze off.
Yeah, I’m already at the point where not much fits me. Cray. Does that mean this kid is going to be huge? Thankfully these jeans were already a little big in the waist so I can still use the hair-tie method to keep them shut. I’m at that totally awkward stage in the baby bump where it just kinda looks like I ate too many Chipotle burritos.
Now, I mean, I wouldn’t put it past me to actually do that, but in this case, that is not the case.
But that’s neither here nor there.
I have a legitimate question for you all: Husband and I are thinking of cutting the cord. The cable cord that is. BAHA! Baby puns already. No, but for real. We’re thinking of getting rid of cable.
Now, we have an Apple TV that has iTunes and Netflix on it which we use all the time. We also have the option of signing up for Hulu Plus, we just haven’t yet. But honestly, we don’t really watch THAT much TV. PLUS, our cable provider *cough cough* Time Warner Cable *cough cough* is just AWFUL and we are paying an insane amount of money every month for service that is the pits.
As we are really trying to cut back and save money where we can, we’re seriously considering doing this.
So, I want to know – have any of YOU cut the cable cord? Do you regret it? Do you love it? Thoughts? Have you THOUGHT about cutting the cable cord? Do you even have cable to begin with?
I’m genuinely curious.
Anywho. Happy day, y’all.
“12 Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. 13 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” -Philippians 3:12-14
