Senior Portraits - UNC Chapel Hill Photographer You may or may not know that in addition to my passion for writing, blogging, fashion, and life – I also have long had a passion for photography.

The truth is, I’ve ALWAYS been that girl with the camera. I have so much fun learning the ins and outs of my camera, coming up with interesting image ideas, and honestly just the creativity of it all.

And in the last year or so, I’ve really tried to take my passion and get even better. There’s SO MUCH to learn and I know that I’m nowhere near the level of a big-time photographer, but I’ve honestly been proud of how much I’ve grown over the past few years.

Anyway, these past few weeks I’ve had the pleasure of shooting some super fun senior portraits for a bunch of different UNC Chapel Hill students.

Each session was seriously a BLAST and it just reminded me how much FUN I have doing these. So, I thought I’d share some of my absolute FAVORITES!

Enjoy. :)

I told them this looked like the cover of the next Spice Girls album! I am OBSESSED with this picture. I got my inspiration for this one from one of my own engagement photos that our photographer Katelyn took. :)

So yeah, so many great women and I had such a fun time behind the camera.

While I’m not a full-time photographer, I am loving growing and learning and having a BLAST while doing it.

What about you? Do you have any hidden (or not so hidden) passions? Anything that you just LOVE to do and you never get sick of it?

Happy Tuesday!

I’m in Florida right now for a quick work trip and this is what I wore to the airport yesterday. If I’m gonna be on a plane, it’s all about comfort for me (AND ease of being able to take my shoes off for going through security).

Sure, nothing exciting or groundbreaking in fashion, but hey, this is one of those go-to outfits for me that’s comfortable and I can pretty much count on for any situation. Am I right?

What is YOUR go-to “travel” outfit?

Flowers, Stripes, and Thursday! It can’t be! It’s too gruesome!

Holly Golightly: Thursday! It can’t be! It’s too gruesome!
Paul Varjak: What’s so gruesome about Thursday?
Holly Golightly: Nothing, except I can never remember when it’s coming up.

Is it any surprise that my favorite movie is Breakfast at Tiffany’s? I know, I know. It’s A LOT of women’s favorite movie, but seriously, I love that movie.

I love that quote from the movie because I feel like, especially lately, that happens to me all the time. One second it’s Monday and the next second it’s Thursday. Sometimes I think Thursday is actually the worst day of the week because it’s a huge tease for Friday and the weekend.

Last week, on Thursday, I had no idea it was Thursday. I honestly went the entire day thinking it was Tuesday. And then THIS week, on Tuesday, I went the entire day thinking it was Thursday. What is wrong with me?

I don’t even know if I can blame it on pregnancy brain. I think it’s just Molly brain and Molly brain is behind a few steps.

Molly brain! It can’t be! It’s too too gruesome! Or something.

AH! But you know what is NOT gruesome? These jeans. Or flowers and stripes together. Nope. Not gruesome in the slightest.

For real. These jeans have pretty much changed my pregnancy style life. I had purchased a few pairs of maternity jeans from a consignment shop and they were just awful. They didn’t fit right, they were uncomfortable, and just plain wretched. But then I went into Motherhood Maternity and said with a bit of desperation, “HELP ME” to the sweet associate and she put me in these and wow. Best. $40. Ever. Spent. Seriously.

Take note preggo ladies and future preggo ladies – shell out $40 for a good pair of maternity jeans. You will not regret it.

Anywho. I’m all over the place today.

Enjoy your gruesome Thursday! :)

This is Jenny from Crazy Style Love:still being molly February Group Giveaway!

Blog | Twitter | Facebook

Jenny is giving away a $40 gift card to J.Crew! YES!

Crazy Style Love is Jenny’s personal style diary of her daily fashion choices. She’s just a regular woman with a regular career, body and budget.  She describes her style as classic feminine with preppy, trendy and glam elements.  She likes to think that 9 to 5 dressing doesn’t have to be boring, and after-work cocktail attire or weekend wear can easily be chic and pulled together.  She started Crazy Style Love out of her sheer passion and enjoyment for fashion, style and shopping, and out of a desire to connect with other bloggers and blog readers who love fashion just as much as she does.

I LOVEEEE Jenny’s blog – it is absolutely one of my daily reads. I seriously want to pin EVERY outfit she wears. For real. Visit her blog and try to NOT pin one of her outfits. She is SO classy and fabulous! Jenny’s bucket list item? I hear Bryan Adams sing “Summer of 69″ live in concert. How AWESOME is that?

Meet Tara from Penniless Socialite:

Blog | Twitter | Facebook

Tara is giving away one month of ad space on her blog AND a Julep nail polish gift set. HUZZAH!

Tara is a twenty-something, vegetarian, attorney living in central New Jersey with her two cats, dog, boyfriend (The Scot) and roommate. Like a proper New Jerseyan, she loves Bon Jovi and pizza and like a “proper crazy cat lady” she is a sucker for animals. Penniless Socialite was born after a day of shopping, eating and drinking with her best friend Elena. They often ignore their 9 to 5 lifestyle and spend the weekends eating and shopping like the socialites on Page Six, minus the money, husbands, eating disorders…and with more cats.

Tara CRACKS ME UP. Seriously. This girl is hilarious. I like to think we would be BFFs in real life, but for now, we’re just blog buddies. I read her posts and they are just always dripping with that awesome dash of sarcasm and wit. She is FUNNY, not to mention CRAZY stylish and adorable! Her bucket list item? Visiting the Galapagos Islands. AWESOME.

Kenye is giving away a $15 credit to her ADORABLE shop! YAY!

Glow Kouture pronounced [gloh] [koo-too-r] first started out as an accessory line of original handmade handbags, clutch purses and other sewn unique goods for the fashion forward shopper who likes to be different. Kenye launched Glow Kouture in 2008 with a vision to create a brand of stylish purses that would inspire and empower every woman to shine in the modern world while endowing a sense of charm and class. Glow Kouture has evolved into a lifestyle brand where she also documents her personal style through the blog Glow Kouture.

I LOVE Kenye’s blog and I absolutely love her shop. She just has such classic style and her personality just shines! I also love that Kenye’s bucket list item is to go sky diving! I’ve always wanted to try that!

Meet Stephanie from Ooh Baby! Designs:

Stephanie is giving away a mini lunch tote AND matching koozie (in your choice of color!) How cute is that?

About 6 years ago Stephanie was working in a job she hated. She got laid off. Yikes! She began making things to stave off the “sheer panic” and use up her “ridiculous energy’ in an effort not to fret herself to death. Someone suggested she sell the stuff she was making. Six years later – here she is.

I absolutely ADORE Stephanie. Not only is she a FABULOUS seamstress, amazing at her craft, and totally sweet, but also she is such an encourager of mine and has become what I like to call a true friend. She is amazing. Her bucket list item? To own a swanky cabin and about 15 acres of land in southwest Virginia. My kind of girl!

Aren’t these ladies AMAZING? Be sure to check them out and all my amazing supporters in my sidebar to the right. Interested in sponsoring this blog of mine? You can get more info and my media kit by e-mailing me. Yay!
