We had just a couple friends come over for some pulled pork and hot dogs and some hanging out in the backyard. So it was low-key, but HOT. Oh so hot out, so at first I had this skirt number planned and then I quickly realized that shorts, a tank, and my new red boots were going to be just the trick.
I don’t usually love wearing just a tank top and shorts… but honestly, it was so hot out I didn’t really care all that much. BUT, I ended up actually kinda liking this outfit. Call me pleasantly surprised.
Well, the fabulous folks at Boot Barn sent me these amazing Shyanne boots and I could not love them more. Oh man. I love them. I love them. I love them. Did I mention I love them?
Oh, and I got to REALLY work on breaking them in when one of our dogs, *cough* Tater *cough*, decided to do a little escape act after a cat and then I had to go sprinting around our neighborhood after her, whilst wearing these boots. Needless to say they held up EXTREMELY well considering I was BOLTING after her. Ugh. That dog. Gotta love ‘em.
HAHAH. Okay. SO, I’m posting the following four pictures in collage-form because I have no shame and I think they’re hilarious. I really wanted to try and do a “jumping picture.” I have no idea why, so don’t ask. However, I was not able to time it correctly with the self-timer and had a heck of a time trying to get a good jumping picture.
I have no idea what’s wrong with me LOL. So, I’m just posting these for your amusement.
Back to the outfit and the boots.
Oh and I MIGHT be doing a little giveaway with them, too… who knows?
