How do the Stillmans do date night when baby Stillman has yet to appear? Well, we hit up Red Robin and Coldstone Creamery, of course! And seeing as how my wardrobe is somewhat limited these days (beating a dead horse, I am aware), this is what a very pregnant lady wears to said date night.
But, the truth is, as much as I actually, genuinely love this outfit, I just felt a little sassier having taken the time to “do” my hair and makeup for an evening.
I’ve said it a thousand times and I’ll say it again, the littlest things (like an awesome new lip gloss and a little bit of bronzer) really can make you FEEL better.
And to answer your question: yes, I am clearly still pregnant. 41 weeks today. And that’s OKAY. It’s in God’s hands, y’all.
…but on that note, if I hear one more person say, “Baby Stillman will come when Baby Stillman is ready” I may lose my dang mind.
I should compile a list of things NOT to say to a late-preggo lady. That would be fun!
But in all seriousness, your words of encouragement mean the world to me, you guys. For real.
“12 Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. 13 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” -Philippians 3:12-14
